Our Story

The North Western Agricultural Society is a volunteer-driven organisation preserving agricultural traditions in South Australia’s Mid North.

Our mission is to promote agricultural education, ensure the show’s success, and preserve its legacy as a celebration of rural life and culture for future generations.

As the organisers of the annual Crystal Brook Show, we manage the Showgrounds and support local groups. Our Show celebrates agricultural heritage with competitions, exhibitions, and entertainment and for 2025 are celebrating our 146th Crystal Brook Show.

We offer families a fun day out, safe for the kids, with plenty of exciting activities for mum, dad and all the family to enjoy. Be sure to come along and enjoy the exciting experience and country atmosphere at the Crystal Brook Show.

Year after year, we’ll continue to see you on the second Saturday in August.
